Role Description
We seek a highly motivated and analytical Junior Research Analyst to support our Treasury team. The role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis on fixed income securities, macroeconomic trends, and financial models to support strategic investment and trading decisions.
Daily tasks include gathering and interpreting data, providing statistical analyses, and communicating findings to the team. The role also involves contributing to strategic planning and supporting senior analysts in decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the impact of macroeconomic and microeconomic indicators on fixed income markets.
- Develop and maintain financial models for valuation and forecasting.
- Support senior analysts in preparing market insights, research reports, and investment recommendations.
- Monitor daily developments in bond markets, monetary policy, and global economic indicators.
- Assist in risk analysis, trading limit checks, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field (compulsory).
- 1–2 years of experience in financial research or investment banking (preferred, but fresh graduates with a strong academic background may apply).
- Knowledge of fixed income instruments and market dynamics.
- Strong understanding of yield curve modeling and quantitative methods.
- Ability to quantify and interpret macro/microeconomic data.
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar financial platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical thinking.
